Beyond TikToking with high profile celebrities like the Jonas Brothers and Instagramming with Olivia Rodrigo, behind the scenes, the Biden-Harris administration has hosted in-person events — including summits at the White House — and held listening sessions with young leaders.
For the piece, I spoke with Hannah Bristol, who spearheads the Biden-Harris’s administration’s youth efforts, about how and if the White House has listened to young people’s concerns.
For their part, young leaders from groups like Voters of Tomorrow, Rise, and the YouthInGov coalition said they appreciate the opportunity to share their concerns with this White House, but would like to see more formal and institutionalized engagement.
