ICYMI, today I joined and for their podcast ‘Hip Replacement,’ which went live on Substack (for the first time!). We chatted about the buzzy story from The New York Times on Gen X creatives and their search for meaning — and why that existential dread isn’t isolated to their generation (in fact, it comes up all the time in my listening sessions with Gen Zers too, who say they’re just trying to survive, rather than thrive). We also discussed hustle culture, why the future workforce will require every employee to have an entrepreneurial mindset (I think it already does), and Gen Z’s evolving vision of the American Dream.
Thank you Ben and Kyle for having me, viewers for joining us, and if you missed it, hope to see you next time :)

And Inside Gen Z’s Vibe Shift
Today I have another podcast episode to share — Inside Gen Z’s Vibe Shift — with my friend Andrew Zucker, who hosts ‘The Golden Age,’ a new show breaking down how culture and politics collide in Trump 2.0. We discussed the two Gen Zs, young voters shift to the right in 2024, and what young people are looking for from Democrats if they want to regain ground with this cohort.
